Formal Property Tax Assessment Review

As an Orange County homeowner, if you believe that the property values reflected on your property tax assessment are higher than they should be, you can request a formal review. Applications for the formal review will be accepted from July 2 – September 16, 2013 for this year’s upcoming tax bill.

To get an application, simply visit this website: http://assessmentappeals.ocgov.com/aa. Homeowners can simply fill in the form online, then print the form and mail the signed form to the Clerk of the Board’s office. Having your property reassessed will help homeowners determine whether or not their property values have been subject to a market surge or if your property assessment is simply no longer accurate for your area.
